I started the Company- Polka Dot Duck in early 2014 with a dream of change in mind. I have to be honest I’ve always thought Party Plan was a bit weird, wasn’t into the party sales environment, and was sceptical at how it was changing lives. Then my life changed. As a Mum who wanted to give back, I started out doing handstamped jewellery, and saw amongst my friends so many women who would like to earn more money, love and cherish life, and essentially are just like me!
I am very passionate about jewellery and always have been, and I understand that the role of ‘Mum’ often means putting careers on hold, trying to juggle the demanding role of Mum at the same time as bringing in an income, the need for flexibility and the desire to be your own boss. It’s not always been this way… I’ve also have been the single girl saving for my own car, my own place, studying, working and wondering where life is taking me. Perfect. Here is where I can help!
I think the one thing that resonates from my own journey is that you look around and it is shared by so many women striving to improve their situation, support themselves and others and so I am determined to be a change for good but in no way am I saying I’m a Saint! I just think that it doesn’t hurt when life is a little easier, and would like to think if I can help improve the life of any woman I would….so meet Polka Dot Duck.
